Coronavirus: New York’s Broadway theatres to remain closed until at least end of 2020

June 30, 2020

It’s been announced that New York's Broadway theatre district will remain closed until the end of the year, with venues saying they would refund tickets up to the third of January. The Broadway League, which represents the 41 theatres, said it couldn’t yet give a date when they would be ready to reopen. They’ve been shut since the middle of March due to the coronavirus pandemic - the longest shutdown in Broadway history.
