YouTube and Reddit get getting busy removing content they say qualifies as hate speech

India’s not the only authority on a banning spree. Social media platforms including YouTube and Reddit have been getting busy removing content they say qualifies as hate speech.

In the last 24 hours YouTube have taken down the  channels of prominent white supremacists - including Stefan Molyneux, David Duke, Richard Spencer, and many more for hate speech.

It comes as internet companies are facing a massive a backlash over racist content and the platform owned by Google says the owners of the channels voices needed removing from their service as they are violating their policies that ban such talk……

On the same day, streaming giant Twitch temporarily suspended Donald Trump’s account after it posted a video the platform deemed ‘hateful content’.
