BAFTA TV awards, Prizes for Chernobyl and Fleabag

Chernobyl and The End Of The F***ing World were the big winners at the Bafta TV Awards.

The award show honours the best of British TV.

There was no red carpet or live audience on Friday evening, and winners dialled in remotely to accept their prizes via Zoom

Sian Clifford won for her role as Clare in Fleabag. Sister of the protagonist, played by Phoebe Waller Bridge in the titular role who she was spending time with on the zoom call. They admitted that their wifi connection wasn’t working so they had to break into a friends house to get a better connection for the show.

Jared Harris earned the best leading actor prize for playing Valery Legasov in Sky Atlantic drama Chernobyl while the show also came out top in the best mini-series category.
