Borat is getting a sequel – and this time it will hit Amazon Prime rather than the cinema. No details have been released about the follow up to Sacha Baron Cohen’s 2006 hit. But it’s due to launch the streaming service on November 3rd.

Actress Gabrielle Union has settled her legal battle with NBC – after she allged that there was a toxic environment on the set of America’s Got Talent.
Union claimed her dismissal from the show was after she spoke out over racism and sexism on set.
In a discrimination complaint, she complained about Cowell smoking on set and said there was an “excessive focus” on female judges’ appearances.

The Lion King is getting a sequel to its 2019 – live action version of the 1994 classic. Oscar Winning director Barry Jenkins has been drafted on board. Known for the huge film Moonlight – the director described it as a dream come true. Disney’s remake of the Lion King was a box office smash grossing nearly 2 billion dollars worldwide.

Hollywood stars have been giving their damning reviews of the Presidential debate last night. Fantastic Four’s Jeremy Slater tweeted – that was the worst thing I’ve ever seen and I wrote FANTASTIC FOUR – the film was universally panned and has a 9% rating on rotten tomatoes.
His tweet was quickly followed by Randi Mayem Singer, who wrote the 2010 movie Tooth Fairy, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Julie Andrews, which was given a Rotten Tomatoes score of 17%.
Incumbent US President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden went head-to-head in the first presidential debate of 2020.

Demi Lovato’s teams are reportedly scrambling to get her latest song onto streaming services after the singer leaked it on the internet. The break up song said to be about her split from Fiance Max Ehrich is called Still Have Me. Hollywood gossip site TMZ claim Sources connected to Demi tell us she became so frustrated with Max's recent antics -- that she didn't want to wait to release the song.

Ratings for the premier of the latest series of The Great British Bake Off were the biggest for any programme –to be shown on Channel 4 since 1985.
The British broadcaster says the show reached 10.8 million viewers.
The first episode of the new Bake Off series saw Matt Lucas make his debut on the programme as he replaced previous co-host Sandi Toksvig.

Hugh Jackman’s wife Deborah Lee Furness has said that it’s rude whne people ask if her husband is gay.
The pair have been married for 24 years and share two adopted children, Oscar and Ava.
The pair first met on the set of Correlli, which was Jackman’s “first job out of drama school.” He recalled the moment on The Jess Cagle Interview, explaining that he eventually realised he had “a crush on my leading lady” - which led Jackman to avoid her initially, but then later admit that he had feelings for her when she confronted him.

John Cleese is the latest celebrity to sign a letter of support to JK Rowling following her controversial comments about transgender people.
Over 50 famous names Sir Tom Stoppard, actress Frances Barber, author Ian McEwan and actor and writer Griff Rhys Jones – originally backed the letter, published in the Britain’s Sunday Times.
Harry Potter author Rowling, 55, has attracted strong criticism for comments on gender identity including mocking an article which referred to ‘people who menstruate’. She vehemently denies she is transphobic.
